The TP-Link VIGI InSight S385DPS is an advanced 8MP outdoor ColorPro panoramic bullet network camera designed for wide-area surveillance. Its dual-lens stitched panoramic imaging technology provides an expansive 180° horizontal field of view, allowing a single camera to monitor broad areas such as parking lots, warehouses, commercial properties, retail environments, offices and other large surveillance locations.

The camera uses dual 1/1.79-inch Progressive Scan CMOS sensors with dual F1.0 apertures and delivers up to 5456 × 1520 resolution. The panoramic image can capture a broad scene while maintaining detailed video suitable for monitoring and security investigation.

180° Panoramic Dual-Lens Imaging

VIGI InSight S385DPS combines two camera lenses to create a seamless panoramic view. With a 180° horizontal field of view and 180° diagonal FOV, it can cover a much wider area than a conventional fixed-view bullet camera. The camera uses 5mm fixed focal lenses and provides manual pan, tilt and rotation adjustment for installation alignment.

8MP Ultra-High-Definition Surveillance

The S385DPS provides up to 5456 × 1520 resolution and supports multiple video stream resolutions. Its 8MP panoramic imaging is designed to preserve useful details across a wide scene, making it suitable for monitoring entrances, parking areas, building perimeters, commercial spaces and other large viewing zones.

ColorPro Night Vision

With ColorPro Night Vision, dual F1.0 large-aperture lenses and highly sensitive sensors, the camera is designed to capture clearer and more colorful images in ultra-low-light environments. Minimum illumination can reach 0.0005 Lux, while IR and white-light illumination provide visibility in darker conditions.

50m IR and White-Light Illumination

The camera includes two IR LEDs and two white LEDs, each providing illumination up to 50 meters under laboratory conditions. The illuminators can be configured for automatic, scheduled, always-on or always-off operation according to surveillance requirements.

Smart Human and Vehicle Detection

VIGI InSight S385DPS supports human and vehicle classification and a range of smart event detection functions. These include intrusion detection, line-crossing detection, region entering and exiting detection, loitering detection, people detection, vehicle detection, abnormal sound detection, scene change detection and video tampering detection.

People & Vehicle Analytics

People & Vehicle Analytics can help users search and filter recorded footage for people or vehicles of interest based on supported attributes. This can make post-event investigation faster and more efficient when reviewing large volumes of surveillance video. This functionality requires supported VIGI software.

120dB WDR and Smart Video Enhancement

The camera supports 120dB Wide Dynamic Range for challenging lighting environments containing strong differences between bright and dark areas. Additional image enhancement technologies include BLC, 3D DNR, HLC and Smart IR to help maintain useful image quality under different surveillance conditions.

Two-Way Audio and Active Defense

Built-in dual microphones and a speaker support two-way audio. The S385DPS also provides red-blue warning lights and sound alerts for active defense applications. External audio and alarm interfaces are available for supported surveillance configurations.

PoE and Flexible Connectivity

The camera features a 10/100M self-adaptive Ethernet port with PoE support. It can operate through 802.3at Class 4 PoE with a maximum PoE power consumption of 21W, or through 12V DC power with a maximum consumption of 18W. This provides flexible deployment options for professional IP surveillance systems.

Local Storage and H.265+ Compression

The S385DPS includes a built-in MicroSD card slot supporting cards up to 512GB. It supports H.265+, H.265, H.264+ and H.264 video compression, helping reduce bandwidth and storage requirements while maintaining efficient video recording.

IP67 and IK10 Protection

Built with a metal housing, the camera carries an IP67 weatherproof rating and IK10 vandal-resistant rating. It is designed to operate in temperatures from approximately -30°C to 60°C, making it suitable for demanding outdoor surveillance environments.

VIGI Management and Integration

The InSight S385DPS can be managed through the VIGI App, VIGI Cloud VMS, VIGI PC Client, VIGI Config Tool and web interface. ONVIF Profile S/T/G support helps enable integration with compatible network video management and surveillance platforms.
